Micrastur semitorquatus 1. Olomega 9 similar but often preceded by 4 calls notes, each higher in pitch - all not as loud & clear as in 3. Not duet performance as in laughing falcon. Cerro de los Naranjos - on 2 evenings was heard from woods at base. 3 call. Chilata heard several times from dense woods. Compared with laughing falcon, this sp. has more fixed or limited terr. Always calls from same place.
