Accipiter erythronemius?

March 31 at noon I perched on stump near horse.
Looked at it with glasses - typical accipiter,
perching with body almost horiz. Saw flank
bars of black but no red, apparently
white below. Slaty blue above. Small.
Not shot & missed & the hawk struck off
with amazing speed then soared in circles high over the ridge.
