Feb. 15 Abundant in lypainth around edge lake
-in flocks mixed with other herons -
-50 seen at a time. *** Seen every
day on lake - perched on snags, or
floating lypainth, lypainth around
edge. Must be hundreds on the whole
lake. Most abundant where lake bounded
by open grass meadows or reeds- not
where forest comes down to lake
