Belize, B.Honduras
and yellowthroats abundant.
In an open marsh was colony of Agelains phoenix. Several Hawks, black vultures, etc. Heard drumming of woodpeckers.
Many mockingbirds singing (beautiful sleek grey birds, no white on wing graduated tail - Minus gilvra). Songs resembling meadowlarks also heard. 1 bluish green snake seen. Several Catbirds.
Went on another road to the beach where a lagoon with kingfishers & open area with short grass. Here were some Kingrids resembling W.Kingbird but I saw no white in tail.
In some taller bunch-grass were some finches feeding on the seeds, & feeding & size to Spinus, called a hunit. Were olive-brown in color. Pelicans diving offshore.
