morrow) July 18 In the group of traps set (2 mi from Hot Creek, I found one Dugongs and nine Prospective mosquitoes. Rain tried following during the night - Many of the traps were opened by Rain. One trap had been dropped to feet and the grid had escaped. At the set for miles from that Creek I found four Prospective mosquitoes. After collecting the specimens in respective traps, ER, Hall, John B Arnold and self drove N.E. from about 10 mi. The looked over a streambed to the right of the road. Found it dry and noted it for further prospective trapping. We started 3 toward Hot Creek. Decided to hunt forward roads and tracks. ER Hall chose Jack Arnold and self alternated between position as right rear and board and boards. One on outside miles spot tracks and go after them. Plan Five o'clock went with ER, Hall and John R Arnold to set traps in valley below Six Mile canyon. Drive to a spot for mi N of Hot Creek and set out about 30-35 traps each. I had stepped directly to it - vegetation sparse and low growing. Quite a section of original life. Drove two and a half miles toward the Creek and set more traps. I got only twenty-two as Dartmoor's overnight car ```
