In the group of traps set (2 mi from Hot
Creek, I found one Dugongs and nine
Prospective mosquitoes. Rain tried following during
the night - Many of the traps were opened by
Rain. One trap had been dropped to feet
and the grid had escaped. At the set for
miles from that Creek I found four Prospective
mosquitoes.
After collecting the specimens in respective traps,
ER, Hall, John B Arnold and self drove N.E. from
about 10 mi. The looked over a streambed to the
right of the road. Found it dry and noted it for
further prospective trapping. We started 3 toward
Hot Creek. Decided to hunt forward roads and
tracks. ER Hall chose Jack Arnold and self alternated between position as right rear
and board and boards. One on outside
miles spot tracks and go after them. Plan
Five o'clock went with ER, Hall and John R
Arnold to set traps in valley below Six Mile
canyon. Drive to a spot for mi N of Hot
Creek and set out about 30-35 traps each.
I had stepped directly to it - vegetation sparse
and low growing. Quite a section of original
life. Drove two and a half miles toward the Creek
and set more traps. I got only twenty-two as
Dartmoor's overnight car
