(Cercopithecus mitis moloneyi) (Nyassaland) Samango Monkey KM - 11547 ♀, 12 Aug. 1946, Koto-Koto, w. Lake Nyasa, 1500', Shortridge, 530, 790, 135, 39. Desc - Arms, legs, and last half of tail black, from shoulders to tail a rusty orange brown color in broad band, side of back and sides, a dark speckled grey, head above and on neck a black grey tinged with rust, face black ears fringed with cinnamon hairs, hair around arms rusty red below whitish grey, cheeks and forehead light grey. Cercopithecus mitis labiatus KM-14911 ♀, 16 Oct. 1949, Frankfort, C.P. Donion, 460, 600, 125, 38 Desc - Head above a black grey, back dark grey, shoulders black grey, hands forearms and hindfeet black, below whitish grey, tail black tipped, black stripe running down tail on top, ears white tipped, cheeks a medium grey, guard hairs banded with black and white, under hair above light grey.
