HB-105, Tl-142 HF-24, Ear 17.5. tail longer than body, body shorter than Rethamp n. fur same color, whiter below, closely related to. Aethomys (3) (B) unclassified as yet no. 12061 ♂, 31 may 1946, Zomba plateau, Nyasaland, Shortridge, Alt. 5000', HB-151, Tl 140, HF-28.5, Ear-21 fur above a dark brown, cheeks light brown, bellow whitish grey, tail dark brown, body stout. Aethomys (3) (F) species unclassified KM 12086 ♂ 4 July 1946, Likelula, Ft of Mlaze Mt. Nyasaland, Shortridge 2500-3000'. HB-117, Tl-139, HF 28, Ear - 19.5. Same size as Rethomp n. only a dark brown Many varieties of Aethomys from Nyasaland Expedition still unnamed or identified in King Williams town Museum.
