Aethomys n. siccatus ♂ KM-5339, 11 Sept. 1927, Otjimbing, N.W.Ouakomb, S.W. Afr. Alt. 710, Shortridge, HB-118 TI-190, HF-26, Ear-18.5 Tail 1½ times length of body, very long and thin, whiter below than Aethomys n. Dorsal fur about same as A.n. Aethomys n. drokensbergi KM 11253 ♂, 28 Jan. 1946, Lady Grey, C.P. Alt. 5260'-7500', Shortridge, HB-136, TI 182 HF 28.5, Ear 19. Tail longer than body, body large for Aethomys, more rusty brown than Aethomys n. Praomys nomaguensis siccatus KM 5348 ♀, 7 Sept 1924, Cunene Falls, N.W.Ouomboland, 3350', Shortridge, HB-124 TI-170, HF-26.5, Ear 18.5 Tail 1½ times length of body, white below, brownish orange above, very closely related to Aethomys.
