Personal Notes
collected a Selous Spiny mouse at
Lecanshya, Northern Rhodesia. Caught
them in fair numbers in and around
the large ant hills of that country.
The skin is extremely delicate and
hard to skin without tearing.
They are found in the same locality with
Tetragala, Thallomys, Aeccatomus,
Musdomys, Calata, and other common
rodents of the same area.
