Description
Head - Hair on nose, forehead, and top of
head, a medium grey with bands of light
orange. Cheek hairs orange, throat and
underside white. Ventral hairs softer and
finer than the bristle like spiny
dorsal hairs. Ears medium sized and
grey with very fine hairs.
Body - Above a dull grey mixed with
bands of light orange giving way to
more orange on the sides. Hairs stiff
and bristle like. Lower side and ventral
portions are white with finer hairs.
Dorsal bristles about 1/2 inch long.
Tail - About same length as body,
greyish brown, finely fanged, and with
fine hairs.
Forefeet - 5 toes 1st one more vestige,
with claws, feet white hairs partly
covering claws, toes short, claws short.
