Genetta albivertris (Rusty spotted genet)
EX. KM-13645 ♂, 3 Aug. 1929,
Andorra (Okavango - S.W. Africa, 1060m), Shartridge.
HB-530, TI-535, HF96, Ear-48.
Spots rusty instead of black, spots also
larger and fewer than in G. felina. Other color
whitish grey, below whitish or brownish grey,
tail ringed with rusty black, except tip and last
3 rings which are more black than rusty.

Spots larger and fewer than G. felina, black
spots with a light rusty tinge on some spots
only 7 black rings on tail, tail tipped black.
Base color the same as in others - whitish grey,

Either an melanistic phase or a new variety or sub-species,
Black tail, rings hardly visible, black neck and shoulders.

Lolodorf and Bipindi, Cameroons 1930. - rusty furry with
patches of black for
black spots running down back 9 rows, tail ringed, lighter below.
