21 June Markwood Meadow, 6 mi. east of Shaver Lake,
Sierra Not. Forest, Fresno Co., Calif. ~ 6000 ft.
Habitat is as described for 17 June. No cloud
cover, wind 3-5 mph, temp. about 45° in the morning
- I watched squirrels from 0615 to 0715, mainly
concentrating on confirming the count of
family size. We left the area around
0900 and arrived in Berkeley at about 1430.
