Mesteño Canyon, Sierra del Nido,
George attacked Buff-breasted Flycatcher (Empidonax fulvifrons) in 15' Blue Yew pine by roadside. Playback of taped call - came to 3'/2.6 mi up canyon from initial point, gate to gp. Ophelia. Talked with cowboys who said trades of bears there, farther up Mesteño Arroyo, & in Variter, 3.5 mi up from initial point, last gate below wooden (dry dam) near cabin. Saw a clear pool, 15' wide, 4' deep, in rocky streambed, 2 Apollon's, about 6 x 8
