1 Km. N. 1/2 Km. E. of Paracoto,
Discarded the following:
1) P. magister. 07, 20+ grms. (head eaten), testis 3 mm., stomach contents pale olive green. Tail & hindfoot 96-25. Trapped at base of 4' green shrub on dry partly-gravelly slope.
2) P. m. 07, 34+ grms, test. 7,

no chest buffy spot; ?-121-28-22. Under brush on partly rocky W. slope. Gray belly, red-brown perineum.
3) P. m. 07 min.;
t hf e
long hair, reddish ears. ?-07-25-29, 17+ grms. Taps hindfoot brownish, & soles darker than andicum. Faint chest spot. Taken from rock wall (4' high, 10' long) partly overgrown dry herbs, including red-flowered vine-shrub.
P. andicum = 4) 07, t. 3, ?-122-26-29, 27+ grms. slight chest buff spot. Base 6" diam. shot dead tree in thick green brush.
5) 07, t. 8, ?-126-26-19, 30+ grms. Base 8" diam. small dead tree under bushes on partly gravelly slope.
6) F, lactating. Uterine scars 2R2L. 30+ grms. No chest spot. Taken under thick half-dried brushes on dry W. slopes w. small scattered rocks. ?-117-25-

ered vine brush, near scattered single rocks on slope. (9) F, ut.
inactive, 22 grms. Base rock wall on grazed flat near camp - no bushes close. (10) 07, t. 3, 27 grms., same location;
20 7-114-27-21. These last 2 surely rock-wall forms.
Genl. Caught both species within 15' at base same rock wall w.

of bushy slope (same rocks) or successive nights (also
Drygowsky & Marrowsee here).
