Tempo. range 34°-65°F.
We saw burrowing owls, Asthomer, and few other birds.
Desolate appearance. Many empty shells of large speical

branches of streocus Cactus. Big rock slides of
clauders up canyon (to W.), with possible vesicaoba

and shrubs browsed to mulberis J. No water near.
Many fox and lizard traces.
We drove back to main Panamerican highway and turned

Dear Amazon & many others have visited the place, and
the Krepelie's did much walk here. We had seen a conda
over dry side of hills. I returns to Lima evening of July 3,
leaving the 3 to work with about 25 traps and one
shotgun. Cattle, Maiteza (sp?), said rains due but late.
