New less restriction. Boys somet. catch an Santa Cruz & sell
to ships. Commercialization not allowed. But even if goat meat
sold, price would be below beef, which is 80 centavos /ll.
(about 4 1/2). Castro said [yr. required to kill off the C goats in
Plaza ls.; at one time 4 men hunted 2-3 goats known there, but
found none. ]0920 left camp & walked E. Shel. & ad., horn 11 1/2"
or curve from crow; Mr shot, killed, eaten laterally. / Camp went
flat to E., Coria lumber to N.; magnific, B, C, Castro stubs nr. four
trees. ]1000, saw ad. 3, 4, + one ad., 200' away, bay color. Then in
Cursura - magnific zone, mes open, but all boulders underfoot &
few goats (rare tracks + fresh drop, the old drops. & shel.). / At
base of rocky hill, much droppings; 2 ad. 3, + ad. (? ?). I shot 2 97.
One boy, saw milk adder, 1150 tot. lb., 15 tail; horn 5" long
or curve (rig 1/2" + 4" from top); slight white spot crow; no
octopus. seen; ston, live, intestine weigh 17 lbs., + rest 29
lbs., for 46 lbs. total. Uterus + ov. inactive but seemed mature.
Stom. cont. 20% green, red sedge (?); no molar wear - One yr.
old? - do rings on horns indicate dry season? / Other, chestnut
(buff), 1220-150 mm. Horn 10" [illegible drawing]
90 fr. t.p. P4 shot. Stom.
10% green. No fat; little flesh, mostly bones & sinews - done
than those nr. camp. / Returned to N. toward beach, thru magnific
zone of large trees (10-15'), many dead, + boulders underfoot,
w. no goats seen - prob. 10/sq. mi. or less. After reached beach
area, I saw 2 small ad. 97, buff. Then, at 1430, 2 97 with
kid about 20 lbs. I shot 4 4. One 1150-150, chestnut (buff),
stom. contents mostly green, red. broad leaves, + much lignist.
No activity grade, but saw milk adder. Horn 7 1/2; nr. 3
