Watched & past K 138. 5- 100 yd. away. 11:35 11:40 1 young defecated on pile. 11:45 1 young went across pile, stopping to. stamp front feet & spread hind legs slightly but didn't defecate. 11:45 1 adult lay on side 3 minutes. 11:50 1 adult defecated on pile. 12:20 ∂ went 50 ft. to pile, defecated & probably urinated, then continued 200 ft. east and grazed. 1 & lay on side <5 min. ∂∂ & young moved a little east, ∂ from 5- came to where they had been and they ran a little toward their own ∂ who just watched. 12:25 1 & walked uphill to sandy area, pawed ground with first 1 forefoot, then other, sniffed ground, rolled. Others moved up to some place. 1 young rolled, then another? adult & young just after it in some place. 12:30 ∂ prone. (100' from 1st pile) 2 young defecated on pile and one urinated. (a & I think). 12:45 1 young defecated & urinated (?) on pile. 12:50 2 adults defecated on pile. ∂ stood up. Another? defecated on pile. ∂ now chased 4 ?? of 5- back to west away from stream (their ∂ now a little uphill to west) and all moved back to former position. 1 adult defecated (1st pile again) on pile. 1 young defecated & urinated (see?)
