BASIN = S Ridge to Road above Hut May 28, 1951 Fair wind from W a N last night. We left camp about 8 a.m. to drive to Sardis road summit. Traps at Green Lake held 1 A bodan jelshii + tail of another. Traps at summit held 2 A. jelshii. Wind especially strong at foot Green Lake; many white- caps. Saw on bend 14 visitors near Lower Road. 2.8 miles from camp road to Summit, thence 10.3 miles from camp road to foot lake. Saw 25 visitors at foot lake, same bothy. 20.8 miles from camp road to Potos junction, thence 5 to Cimarras. Bought gas + groceries. Then drove to Sardis
