in lower E 139 draw, wrestling with necks,
one trying to mount other from rear. Then
3 more juveniles joined in gamboling.
Youngest juvenile in upper group is still
only one lying down. Chase between
two adults in upper group. ? chased ?
away from group and back again.
Several times "he" stopped and each
time "she" stopped and walked a little
toward him, then he started chasing
again. Stopped suddenly & began grazing.
Sun has now set on [illegible] group. Juv. is
nursing in upper group. (5:00) 2 juv.
from upper still with lower group. All
up but youngest juv. in upper group.
All up in W 139 group. Another chase in
upper E 139 group. After chase, the 2 stood
with heads high, ears back, tails out,
at least one making fighting noise.
? walked away and toward other group,
shook head several times, walked back.
5:10 sun set on upper group. 5:15 youngest in
upper group nursing. Chase again in upper
group - ran out of sight up draw after
chasing about 100 yd. still in sight. ? from
upper groups ran towards lower group. Two
juveniles from lower group ran to her and
