April 1 Huaylaco
The 4 juveniles are / nursing, 3 running about (sidn hoo set).
A 2 jur. wrestled with necks, then one climbed on other's back in manner of initiating copulation. One adult ? still looks pregnant.
April 5 at 1pm drove up from 137. At 138.7 4 A, 15 above road, 7 A across stream.
In E 139 Draw 13A, 5 J. One of these adults lying down with tail sticking out. Tail jerked occasionally. After 5 minutes got up & grazed. This and at least 2 others look pregnant. 3 adults farther up draw. In Broken Bridge Draw 6 A, 4 J. A condor lit on hillside above them. One of them ran toward it and it flew but I don't know which vicuna it was. The ? did three "wolf howls" on pile after 2 ?? had gone. It curled back lips and his head trembled as he held it up.
On W 139.3 Draw gr 2 adults, one with ono with light line chased other. Light line on sides. While I watched & A, 4 J came over hill, down W 139 Draw, across road & stream and over hill about the 13A, 5 J. None of these 8 adults acted like a ? and as they went over the hill they were being chased by several
