March 22 Drove up 4:30 pm 134 to 139. 12 ?? on left at 135. 6 in mouth of E 138.2 Draw. April 1 Drove down from 142 at 3:00. Stopped at broken bridge for ½ hour. None in sight from here. 8 A, 1 J came over ridge between the 2 draws E of road, saw me, returned over ridge. From K 139 I could see at least (2 running) 9 A with at least 3 J (some maybe out of sight) at upper end of green part in right (main) draw. 200 yd. above them on hill were 3 A.
