At 138.9 there were 9 adults with 2 juveniles across stream and half way up slope. March 20 Drove up the road in the morning. A group at 135.6 down in stream bed so I could not see them. Low one at 137.2 between road and stream. Large group of ?? running up E 137.5 draw. 7, still with no young, 100 yd. above road at 137.9. 14+ adults with 3 juveniles at 138.6 near top of ridge above (w) road. Turned around at 139 seeing none of usual groups. Saw the 14 A, 3 J again at 138.7 now below road & across stream. On of the adults is a very young-looking & fuzzy yearling. At 138.6 about where 14A, 3J were just a group of 9 A, 4 J was coming down the hill. A nearly white ?? followed 100 yd. behind them. When they got to road, ? of group chased white one. It ran around him and across road. Then ? of 14A, 3J chased it. It ran down stream 100 yd. and started grazing. Moved gradually about
