About an hour later 7? of 5 (now 4) walked toward 3 (now 4). adult of latter ran at him and he stopped. The 2 ?? grazed side by side between their groups and gradually their ?? moved closer. The two groups grazed almost as one for about an hour until I left with no further clashes. The ?? stayed always more or less between the groups and the new one stayed with the group it had joined. At 138 there were 3 above (west of) road. Two were yearlings. They went over the hill before I discovered whether ?? a ?? . In canyon of stream that crosses road at 137.65 there was a group of 5 above road and of 10 farther up. The 5 (??) moved 200 yd. down road, then across road and off toward stream. The 10 moved up canyon out of sight. Feb 9 2 pm 10 with 2 yearlings below road at 137.4. 4 with 2 yearlings on E 138 flat. 3 with 2 yearlings on road at 138.1.
