C L Douglas attempted to shoot a couple but they were so wary that they dove into the rocks before we got within reasonable range, 12 June 1980. I attempted to saturate the rock outcrops with traps to catch chipmunks 19-20 June 1980, but caught only one, which I brought back alive.
