18 NOV Titus Canyon at Klara Spring continued
Set second line of 50 traps concentrated around Spring. Spring vegetation: Typha, Pluchea,
Poa, giant sedge - a total of 32 traps in spring
groutte, the other 18 continuing in a line
gong W from spring along NE side of the road,
Chrysactenmus particulatus. Then I proceeded
3.1 miles W along the road, elev: approx 2000 ft
surrounded by high rocky cliffs, gravel wash.
Vegetation: Eucride, Chrysactenmus particulatus, Viquiera,
Erigowus rixfordii, Camcephleum, Eucelia, Lortia,
Tidestromcia, Erigowus inflores, Sclvia funeris.
Set 60 traps, 3 trap stations 2 Sherman and
a Housew Special, in two lines of 30, on each
side of wash along canyon walls. Returned
to Klara Spring to learn that Margaret had
seen six Bightus come in to drink, one or
and the others ? or young. Camped at Headfield.
