6 July 1980. Strozzi Ranch Road
3 1/2 mi NE of Strozzi Ranch last night's traps
had somewhat better success than previously.
Cross ridge line: 2/40 1-Dipodomys merriami (#322)
1-Peromyscus maniculatus (#321)
Wash line: 2/39: 1-Perognathus parvus (#323)
1-Onychomys torridus (#324).
Total #/79: 5% trap success. Picked up these traps
at 9 am.
1/2 mi NE of Strozzi Ranch last night's traps
caught:
Cross ridge line: 2/40: 1-Peromyscus maniculatus (#325)
1-Peromyscus truei (#326) both at same station
in brushy canyon.
Along ridge line: 0/18
Wash line: 1/40 Peromyscus maniculatus, released
Total catch: 3/98: 3% trap success.
Left these traps in place for another night,
but set 4 more to make total trap nights
for this area be 200. Spent the afternoon
putting up specimens.

Cross ridge line 2/40: 2-Peromyscus maniculatus, released
Along ridge line 1/22: Peromyscus crinitus (#327)
Valley line 3/40: 1-Perognathes (#328);
1-Perognathes (#329); 1-Onychomys (#330)
Total: 6/102 = 5.8%
Picked up traps and headed for home.
