16-18 August 1979 continued p3
Hiked uphill from this spring, over ridge
to camp, saw a chipmunk on this
ridge. Very rugged climb. In evening
set up bait net, but caught nothing-
saw pipistrelles and ?? left 74 traps
set overnight.
18 August 1979 last night's traps
caught. # 143-151. Started picking up
traps at 8 am, continued until 11 am.
Met Gary Veguist, Grapevine ranger,
and had a good rap with him.
Packed up and left area at 12:30
saw 4 horses on way out, wear
curry well.
