EL Kalstein 1955 Journal March 19 MVZ and Zool. 137 close trip to northwest coast of California. Left campus 6:45 A.M., took ferry from Richard to Son Reford, then U.S. 101 north. Foggy over Bay but clearing, four ships after. Went to Skaggs Spring just N of Geyserville on 101. First two stops 1-1/2 mi. W of Skaggs Spring. Onides florije (5) A., lugubris (1), Batrachospea, Taricha rivuloris (15), T. grandora (large adult ov), Carchnotus multic. (1), Scalog. (5), Eumeres (3), Diodyskoi (1). Six of us collecting (R. A small tributary creek emptying into Warm Spring Creek had the Diconetodon lowae. We drove back to Hwy. 101, continued north past Geyserville and then took Hwy 128 (#28 or more) second stop 11 A.M. W of McDonald (see catalog for exact localities) where R. boylei and many Onides lugubris taken. Upper Sisson country has but coniferous growth getting lower on N-facing slopes. Clear skies, moderate breeze. 3rd stop just W of Navarro where Onides, Batrachospea taken. We then came to Hwy I on the coast. Brief stop 1-2 P.M. at
