Boone Colorado
Bufo (canarensis)
March: letter from T.B. Moslin at Colorado dated
27 Feb. 1956. In reply to my questions
regarding habits of Toads Colorado, Moslin
reports all are montane, above 7000 feet, and
the habits are almost identical to B. canorus
(which he has seen in the Sierra). Active both
day day and by night. Eldora specimens
nocturnal at Rainbow Lakes, 20 or 30 miles
to north, were collected during the day.
See letter for more remarks on problem - and
remarks concerning Blue Lake locality label.
April 3 RCS turned over to me some B. boreas from
southern California.
