Following John's lead we drove SE to Redlands Blvd. Junctin of Blvd. and Rede Canyon Road (435.6 John's car) 1 Phrynosoma cornutum on road (437.5) 8:45 A.M. Cascade Ranch (438.2) search for salamander at spring unsuccessful 1 Phrynosoma cornutum adult at Rock by Dick Eckin. Continued NW to Cascade Springs (440.7), a more mesophytic situation with a sycamore grove nestled in a stream bed along road. 1 Pitophis coterifor large adult. 1 Gamborata multicarinatus dead on dirt roadway. 3 Scelognys occidentalis. I spotted a couple of Cramidophorus but couldn't get near them as they tore into goosewood clumps. We doubled back SE along Rede Canyon Road. Stop near Ranch again but on main road. 1 Phrynosoma cornutum from top of large boulder 1 Botrioderez altervotus in spring seep area. adult Craterius viridis dead and decaying in ditch side of road. Weather clear and hot with mild freeze. Hng 60 to Borning 11:10 A.M. District Warden (Fish & Game) Frank Brundoge helped to get permission to get on water company property up Bonning Canyon.
