Oct.27 a fairly dark area when candled. 60-W bulb in goose-neck lamp placed a foot above the eggs 8:30 p.m.
Jan.7 Eggs (2 remaining) finally cracked open. One with cracked shell was dried up. Other same as those previously opened. All eggs apparently were not fertilized since no sign of embryo.
