x L = 36.28 mm. Eggs are hard like a hard
x W = 20.19 mm. hen's egg. no give when
pressure gently applied with finger. Eggs have
been in warm room since 10:45 A.M. yesterday
where average temp about 25° C. It is now 26-27°
at 12:10 P.M. today. Eggs transferred to a
cut-down from tin from a small aquarium.
Tin 9½" long, 6½" wide, 2½" deep., oval nd
25-30 nail holes punched in bottom for drainage.
Eggs taken to Cave 19 for care there. A maximum-
minimum thermometer kept in tank. 60 W bulb
in student goose-neck desk lamp turned on about
nightly and placed 8-10 inches above top of soil.
Eggs just buried under soil surface. Pan removed
to sunlight at irregular intervals.
Aug. 17 Check under light of all eggs. one has dark
disc-like structure which moved when egg
rotated. All others showed only the zerrny
yellowish-orange yolk with no distinct germ spot.
