the entire skin area is puffed out over the
palms and digits. Eyes appear normal as is rest of
skin generally.
Feb. 2 kept above animal in jar overnight at cool =
50° F. temperatures, ½" water in bottom of jar.
Animal in same condition today. 10 A.M. I
tested the inflated skin to determine whether air
or fluid present. Withdraw air only from ventral
region. Both air and clear watery fluid present
dorsally but mostly air. Animal hopped and
jumped normally but within minutes began to
inflate again. Placed in cold room 10:15 A.M.
