Kudochumes #7 [illegible] the [illegible] modern Herpetologist in quest of radioactive toads. #8 & #9 of Kardatum Complete Collector.
Voightlander #8 and #9 Use of gaging counter along ditch.
1/100th F12 1/50th F9 - we goofed and used Kudochume reading.
The sun disappeared behind ridge (above Gayler lakes) about 4:30 p.m. Immediate cooling effect.
I checked out yard at NEXE margin of study area, no signs of toads but one juvenile Hydra scored my margin yard.
The only adult corvuz found during 18 man-hours of work in study area was an adult @ T 71 locking a Co60 toy. Jerry Robinson disturbed it at margin of ditch 1' depth and toad swam out into open. Observed 2:20 p.m. 10.2°C., water 1" below surface where 2" deep, moving slowly, 9.8°C. Air 13.9°C. Bulbs shaded. Location 51 yards WxNW of Stotain (weather) which means a movement of 26 yards to NW from position Aug. 30.
Maximum-min. air readings taken at Turiga Pass station were recorded. I moved a regular wall thermometer to position near autoway to station. This done so a check can be made between readings new door way (possibly warmer)
