June 16 left Postpole area 2:30 p.m. and returned to Idry, 298,
drove north to Leavine windy and warm. Gaz 10.4 gal.
3.85 (39137). Greens. Up Tenza road to Tuzer
Rose 5:15 p.m. driving SW breeze, cool but mostly
clear. Snow in particles. Tenzu Lake at higher level
than I remember it being last summer. made
check for birds 5:45-6:30 p.m., set out max-min.
thermometer at Entrance station and put Tog thermograph
out in meadow area. Bolz House and Fairwood ?,
Rogers on duty, promised to daily record high-low
in Tuzen. 3 or 1 & seen in study area. no
eggs or calling - crouse everyone recent. Waka calling
but their breeding just begun. left Rose 8 p.m.
and drove directly to Valley, mileage end of Tuzi.
39215. Total this mileage Yoz. Valley return 1691
miles. Camped at Camp 19.
June 17 walked at museum morning. checked Abushnee order.
station 11+ A.M. Clear, warm, slight breeze. Return
to Berkeley 6:15 p.m. after hot trip than Great
Valley. someone made trip without fatality. High
of 90+ of moderate today but breezy.
