Rowen 3 9 June seen as the top character on their totem poles - saw several of these in the village in Ketlikson. 12 July Petersburg Alaska Ames Fur Farm Petersburg Creek There are a group of about 8 ravens that frequent the place where we dump all the fish scraps, cleanings etc every day. This place is about in the middle of the intertidal zone, and the ravens will be found there when the scraps are first covered and will remain until everything edible is cleaned up. They pick the meat off the flounder & salmon heads. Salmon (dog's humpy) roe seem to be a choice diet to them. They rarely squabble with each other over the feed, each going about his own business slowly picking at the scraps. They are aroused easily. Nearly the opening of the door of the fish house 150 feet from them will put them to flight.
