M Johnston 1948 Humpback Salmon 30 Jan. 1 1/2" long. Definitely taking on "fish" appear once more. Yolk sac almost gone. Tail's fins definitely formed. From anal line along body, a definitely darker dorsal seg- mentation. Fins are clear scale. 9 Feb. Yolk sac slightly small. Dorsal side darkening, tread still largest part. Embryonic pro- portions. 19 Feb. More gen. level. 1 March Only slight bridge of yolk sac showing. Or the time shows pig- mentation thru the more translucent abdominal half.
