During a discussion of the
whales in Holkham Bay, Mrs.
Kohlhase said that she had
seen whales jump completely
out of water on the channel
just north of Eagle Island.

They would fall back onto
the water making such loud
sounds that they would

reverberate from the mountains
around the Bay.
