J.M Johnston 1948 Porpoise 27 Aug. differently than the usual roll breaking the surface & exhaling immediately, followed by an immediate inhalation & x and inhale re- quire a second, or less to complete. This one rolled to the surface exposing the upper part of his head and about two feet of his back centewise - Highest part 6" above the surface. Made four complete exhaleds + inhales before submerging... 25 sec- onds later, it surfaced about 50 yds from first place of surfacing and re- peated the blowing - Ex+In 3X. Exhaled and inhaled 3 times before submerging
