Varied Thrush.
7 June
Juneau, Alaska
0.5 mi N of Douglas Bridge, W. Juneau Rd.
A Varied Thrush has been seen
frequently around the back
yard. It gathers crumbs &
table scraps that have been
thrown out from the house
into the conifers to the west
of the house. It always flies
to [illegible] the same place about
half way up the 75 ft Spruce
trees and disappears as it
flies deep into the woods.

Ames Fair Farm, Petersburg Creek
One killed itself by flying
into a window. I seen short
[illegible] every day about the ranch.
