N side Dundon Pen.
An adult Black Bear was
seen on the beach from the
boat. There were three cubs
with her, two black and
one brown. The cubs cavort
ed about the adult.
26 May. Holkham Bay, Alaska
Cove, N shore, entrance to Tracy Arm
A big Blackie was rolling
in the wheat like grass
just above the beach. It
tumbled off into the wood
as we neared the shore.

A blackie was seen on the
shore in the grass belt just
above the beach, eating
the grass.
