Swainson Thrush 17 May Holkham Bay - Alaska North shore Dundum Peninsula. One heard singing in the woods. 9 June Juneau, Alaska 2 Blocks N of Small Boat Harbor. At 11:30 PM it is as light as it would be in California (L.A.) a few minutes before dawn or after sunset. A Swainson Thrush was singing as though it were mid day. It is the only one I hear singing thought at this time. 22 July Petersburg, Alaska Ames Fish Farm, Petersburg Creek. Hear one singing most every day. 14 Aug.
