Cove, Constantine Harbor Red-breasted Merganser - Grauman Lake Common Eider - Bridge Cr. Cove. Red-throated Loon - near New Camp - Flying Bar-tailed Godwit - Floche - Bridge Cr. Cove. Glauconous-winged Gull - Big Lake & nearly everywhere. Parasitic Jaeger - Big Lake Pelagic Cormorant - Kirilof Islets, Bridge Cr. Cove area. Rock Sandpiper - near Bridge Creek. Tufted Puffins - Constantine Harbor, Kirilof Islets (perhaps nesting in burrows beneath turf at top of cliffs of islets) Bald Eagle - sea stack near Bridge Creek - nest 2 downy young Marsh Hawk - near Big Lake Winter Wren - Constantine Harbor - cliffs. Snow Bunting - Constantine Harbor - cliffs. May 16 Anchutka Island, Alaska Circled Clerenger Lake & walked the beach of nearby Mahonius Bay. Collected 3 ♀ Rosy Finches from a flock of 10-15 birds feeding on the grassy steep hillside which slopes to the beach. Birds were also seen on the rocks in the intertidal area.
