Occurrence: Accidental Visitant
One bird was seen on Oct. 27, 29, 31 and Nov. 1, 1926, in the
pine trees just west of the reservoir in Elysian Park. On Nov. 1,
1926 Dr. S.H. Miller was with me, and he also saw the bird. He
sent a letter to Dr. Grinnell endorsing the identification and it
was published in the Jan.-Feb., 1927, Condor. A copy is attached.
I sent a letter to Dr. Chapman, describing it and its habits.
