A.T Howitt 8/4/1 [illegible] I was at whom (it's hard to read) in Wimby & knew it in a bowl with A kind of lot as (h/tou) on May 22. [illegible] afternoon I went to the station at two. On June 8, I left and got back at noon and stayed till A month later when I found it to be a I did as much as I could in one day but wasn't that so easy. My old friend A private's ring between right ear and my left eye had not in it any trace of gold or anything good but only traces that may have I told him to get it out but he said no, it was not worth the trouble. So I left it alone. I went off to see J. Gage on 15-6-28 at about 3:00 P.M. Weather clear cool; the old girl's name was not A but she had a pretty little face and a soft hair that fell on her shoulder. At 7:00 A.M. I left him to go back home and met no one on my way but saw a log of two men who were walking in the street near the house where I lived and saw two boys playing in the street with a ball. They looked like I had been at school till 7:00 A.M. and went to the store at 8:30 A.M. but found it closed, so I went to the post office and got my mail and then went home again.
