During the day I saw a Myxobolus and a Horned Owl near Camp. I neglected to mention that yesterday I picked up a specimen of Marmota flaviventris which was lying in the roadway. The skull was in good condition but the vertebral column was broken - Evidently the animal was, a young ? had been hit by a passing automobile. The large part of the day was spent in buying groceries at Pasco and in setting up camp.
