July 9. Ie caves, lt. 5mi. Culea, in Shanauie co., Wash. Due to a breakdown of the truck we remained in Hood River for the day. July10 at 3 o'clock we crossed the river to White Salmon Wash. and then drove 30 miles northwest through Irondale to the ice caves located in Shanauiei co., wash.
