ran along parallel to and
at times under a fallen
tree which was perhaps 60 feet
long. Outside the burrows
near one of the openings -
partially dried grass was
spread out and
found exposed to the sun.
Although 4 traps were set
in this burrow system by
Mrs. Johnson; never
taken. The burrow opening
were nearly completely
covered by camas and
other excellent
herb which I could not
identify. During the afternoon
before breaking camp I picked
up a But Traps which I
had left out from a
previous setting and fund
a 7 adult Entomius Townsendii.
In the road north of Camp
I saw fresh trobles of deer,
seemingly 2 deer of different
size as shown by the differents
antlers. In
the afternoon we broke camp
