Hooper 1939 July 3 Calculated at mouth Pescuites R. sage brush or any other available cover. Same were set in the open upon the beds of sand described above. Very little sign was seen while setting out the traps. July 4 Only one mouse was found in the above trap line a Neothrodontomy's Neglectors J. O & was detected under a clump of sage brush which was surrounded by dry grass 8 inches high. In the evening no bats were seen within hour of observation; however a Nighthawk and an Owl (not identified) were seen Barbara Max 4108 to, ENE Mt. Lord, Hard Pwces, & July 5 by 12 o'clock we had driven camp and northern drove west along the Climber river highway through the Dolles to Broad River and then south on the Mt. Lord loop highway for 30 miles to the bottle
