were baited with oatmeal.
The catch was:
Bergamycus maniculatus 1 ♂
Perognathus parvus 1 ♀
Sipodomyx hermanni 4, (1♂ & 3♀)
Several trap were found
spring without mice -
The settings under
the low sage brush
seemed the best.
A member of the party
found the nest of
a juncwill containing
2 young birds only
recently hatched.
The nest was only a slight
depression in the soft
sand 1 inch deep and 6 inches
in diameter - several
rocks, pieces of brownish
wood were found
in the nest with the
young birds - The birds were
