Houger 1929 11 mi. NE Weed. under sage brush but also in the open and under logs and by the sides of tree stumps. The trap were baited with oatmeal. The catch was: Bergamycus maniculatus 1 ♂ Perognathus parvus 1 ♀ Sipodomyx hermanni 4, (1♂ & 3♀) Several trap were found spring without mice - The settings under the low sage brush seemed the best. A member of the party found the nest of a juncwill containing 2 young birds only recently hatched. The nest was only a slight depression in the soft sand 1 inch deep and 6 inches in diameter - several rocks, pieces of brownish wood were found in the nest with the young birds - The birds were
